Below you will find answers to some frequently asked questions.
Q: Do you build custom ramps, platforms and gangways?
A: Yes, we do a wide variety of custom work. If you have your own design plans we can build directly from them. We can also work with you to take your ideas to our engineers and come up with plans to fit your specific needs.
Q: How long does it take to get the product once I place the order?
A: Generally about one week from the time you order to the time we ship. Of course it all depends on the order. If it‚s a custom order it can take much longer depending on the job.
Q: I‚m not sure what type of hinge or bracket I need on my ramp or gangway. Can you tell me what works best?
A: Different applications require different hardware. If you can e-mail us pictures of the job site and close up pictures of the mounting surface we can figure out what will work best for your situation.
Q: Can you make replacement parts for other manufacturers products?
A: Yes, if you can send us the part or drawing we can make most basic parts.
Q: Do all of your gangways and other products come with removable handrails that bolt on and off?
A: Not all of our handrails are removable. There are advantages to both systems. If the handrails are removable the entire unit can be crated and shipped much more cost effectively. Also, if a handrail is damaged, bent or broken it can be easily replaced. When the handrails are a permanent part of the structure we can build a more stable and stronger walkway, gangway or bridge. However for most cases the load ratings for a structure with removable handrails is far more than sufficient.
